Visteon Honors Outstanding Suppliers with 'Visteon Important Partner' Awards DEARBORN, Mich., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Visteon Corporation has announced the winners of its second annual Visteon Important Partner award program, which recognizes those suppliers that have exceeded expectations and demonstrated excellence in their collaborative efforts with Visteon. Additionally, each winner receives a seat on the Visteon Supplier Round Table Council, a team of suppliers and Visteon Purchasing executives that works to streamline efficiencies, reduce costs and collaborate on flawless delivery to customers. From these groups, the supplier selected as the Global Visteon Important Partner of the Year was Shotic Europa-Industria de Aluminio, Lda., in Portugal. The company supplies aluminum-forged products to Visteon in Europe. "The entire Shotic Europa-Industria de Aluminio team demonstrated that they are a true partner with Visteon in the way they approached their relationship with us in 2003," Maples says.
