Power supply characterization of baseload and flexible enhanced geothermal systems

Under business-as-usual scenarios and across depths of 1โ€“7 kilometers, we estimated 82,945 GW and 0.65 GW of EGS supply capacity with lower levelized cost of electricity than conventional hydrothermal and solar photovoltaic projects, respectively. Considering the scenario of flexible geothermal dispatch via wellhead throttling and power plant bypass, these estimates climbed up to 184,112 GW and 44.66 GW, respectively.ย

Also you know that big oil is the reason geothermal energy is making alot of headway? Not to mention alot of oil is needed to extract the resources needed to manufacture solar panels/batteries?

Geothermal is the best non nuclear renewable energy source period. It doesnt have the waste of solar panels. It doesnt have the waste of wind generators killing birds. It doesnt require massive mining operations for materials to make batteries. It requires deep holes to reach earths natural heat. Thats where big oil comes in. Its been developing the tech to extract oil more effiently that can also be used for geothermal ideally anywhere.

Geothermal doesnt depend on rainwater melting snow. It doesnt depend on the sun shining nor wind blowing. It produces baseload energy 24/7 with a byproduct of heat that can ne used to heat/cool homes.

That's some serious BS as EVs cause more pollution and humans arent the root cause of "climate change". Earths weakening magnetic field is an indirect cause because it allows more radiation into the atmosphere. That increased energy causes warming.

Because NVDA was primed to reverse off of a major trendline and I went all in. Timing lined up. If I'm being brutally honest. That and 221 was a key resistance point last week on retracement moving down and back up. Overlapping Fibonacci retracement. Yeah the chart is a mess then, but the algorithm still uses these points to move off of in future trades.

Tesla in Seattle-area crash that killed motorcyclist was using self-driving system, authorities say

DETROIT (AP) โ€” Authorities in Washington have determined that a Tesla that hit and killed a motorcyclist near Seattle in April was operating on the companyโ€™s โ€œFull Self Drivingโ€ system at the time of the crash.

Investigators from the Washington State Patrol made the discovery after downloading information from the event-data recorder on the 2022 Tesla Model S, agency spokesman Capt, Deion Glover said Tuesday.

โ€œThe investigation is still ongoing in this case,โ€ Glover said in an email to The Associated Press. No charges have been filed, he said.

The earths magnetic field is weakening. That means the incoming radiation is penetrating into the earth at greater amounts over time. That will cause an increase in surface geoelectric activity which will expose EVs , technology, and infrastructure to greater and greater amounts of EM radiation over time. This will cause EVS and even newer computerized ICE vehicles to go out of control killing people. No amount of software updates will fix that. It'll cause numerous errors across everything that depends on technology. It'll even cause buildings and bridges to collapse via the Hutchison Effect as well as increased pipeline corrosion leading burst failures. The only solution is to use technology, while still viable, to reduce dependency on technology. We should not be increasing our dependency on it which will only make humanity more vulnerable as the earths magnetic field continues to weaken and possibly reverse. Everything seen in the movie 'Leave the World Behind' and more.

More information is coming out about a geomagnetic excursion that happened around 42,000 years ago dubbed the Adams event. Unfortunately little is known about that impacts to technology because theres no evidence any existed back then. More evidence is coming out about climate upheavals and the increase in cave art is believed to be associated with people going into caves during solar events because radiation levels were really high. Art that demonstrated higher degree of emotional expression and civilization existing at that time. Interestingly the mud used in alot of cave art also makes excellent natural sunscreen.

Section 8 - Hutchison Effect & Teslas Whompy Wheel issue

Jain is one of tens of thousands of Tesla owners who have experienced premature failures of suspension or steering parts, according to a Reuters review of thousands of Tesla documents. The chronic failures, many in relatively new vehicles, date back at least seven years and stretch across Teslaโ€™s model lineup and across the globe, from China to the United States to Europe, according to the records and interviews with more than 20 customers and nine former Tesla managers or service technicians.

https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/tesla-musk-steering-suspension/

The exact cause of the Hutchison Effect is unknown in public spheres as it is classified under national security. However the most likely culprit seems to be a combination of electromagnetic sources coming together in a way to change the makeup of metals leading to their rusting, softening, fracturing, complete breaking, even dustification. Keep in mind the degree of metal materials that are within our buildings and infrastructure...even in concrete. Maybe this is why we are seeing an increase in building and bridge collapses?

This is the problem with computers on wheels! No amount of software updates can stop hardware issues caused by EM radiation.

Tesla argues it had no control in the crash and death which were "caused by a superseding and/or intervening force."

The computer errors from outer space - EM radiation the intervening/superseding force

When computers go wrong, we tend to assume it's just some software hiccup, a bit of bad programming. But ionising radiation, including rays of protons blasted towards us by the sun, can also be the cause. These incidents, called single-event upsets, are rare and it can be impossible to be sure that cosmic rays were involved in a specific malfunction because they leave no trace behind them.

And yet they have been singled out as the possible culprits behind numerous extraordinary cases of computer failure. From a vote-counting machine that added thousands of non-existent votes to a candidate's tally, to a commercial airliner that suddenly dropped hundreds of feet mid-flight, injuring dozens of passengers
Plus, since giant ejections from the sun can sometimes send huge waves of particles towards Earth, what's called space weather, an unnerving prospect looms: we could see much more disruption to computers than we're used to during a massive geomagnetic storm in the future
An investigation by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau found that, prior to the erratic behaviour of the plane, erroneous computer data in the on-board systems had misrepresented the angle at which the aircraft was flying. This prompted the two automated nose-dives. As for what actually set off this chain of events, the report noted: "there was insufficient evidence available to determine whether [an ionising particle altering computer data] could have triggered the failure mode" โ€“ meaning that it remains a possibility. In contrast, all the other possible triggers considered by investigators were judged as "very unlikely" and one other as "unlikely".
With the rise of self-driving car technology, it's possible that computer systems on these vehicles could malfunction due to cosmic rays. What if, during an automated trip, imagery from a camera mounted at the front of the car became corrupted and the on-board computer failed to spot a person walking out in front of the vehicle?
However, the research is yet to be published and he says he's not allowed to reveal what the starting level of accuracy was during the experiments.

Such interventions could make self-driving cars of the future safer but they wouldn't eliminate the possibility of a cosmic ray causing other problems. And this raises an interesting conundrum for insurers.

"In a world of fully autonomous vehicles, how can you prove the accident happened because of cosmic rays?" says Rech. "That is very challenging. I mean, it's impossible, by definition." In ambiguous cases, disputes over whether a human or technology manufacturer โ€“ or space weather โ€“ was at fault might be difficult to resolve
Impossible to prove but can and does happen. Can even be emulated in a lab setting.

As for the fundamentals of TSLA, we all know that the electric vehicle market is quite involuted, the price war is extremely fierce, TSLA products lack competitiveness, sales have declined quarterly, gross profit margin is also declining, the Robotaxi and robots that were hyped up to the sky have been repeatedly delayed, and the second quarter financial report also confirmed that the Robotaxi conference will be postponed to October 10.

As for the hype of the "Trump deal", it has also died down recently due to the decline in Trump's chances of winning the election. In any case, there is no reason for the current TSLA to rise, but yesterday, just because of a rating upgrade by Morgan Stanley, TSLA soared 5.6% in a single day, giving people the most intuitive feeling that "the rise is too fake", but the fundamentals of TSLA have not changed at all, and it can even be said to have become worse, so take advantage of its rebound and sell it.
๐Ÿ‘๏ธ0
Diamondhands45 Diamondhands45 2 days ago
Why do such patterns and routines appear? I think it may be because the other six giants lack the momentum for rising in the short term, while TSLA is a company that can be hyped up without fundamentals. Institutions can easily control the rise and fall of the index by raising TSLA, and then cover up their intention to sell. But in the end, selling is selling. TSLA, which has no fundamental support, will soon make up for the decline and eventually collapse the index.

So if you still hold Tesla, I suggest you really consider selling it!

Meanwhile, the U.S. presidential election is approaching, and the stock market may see increased volatility. Since 1928, during election years, the Chicago Board Options Exchange Volatility Index (VIX) has risen an average of 25% from July to November, which is the "risk background" of the stock market. According to Bank of America strategists, the VIX has soared 32% in July and is expected to record the largest monthly increase in more than two years.

The reason why the index was able to stabilize yesterday and did not plunge in the late trading was mainly because TSLA strongly pulled up 5.6%, and one company protected the index, but this is a classic old routine. "When TSLA soars without thinking, the index will soon usher in a dive." This law has been confirmed countless in the past, and almost every time it can trap many people.

Humans are better than AI in most on the fly type tasks. This is known.

Flying a plane is easier than navigating random traffic scenarios for AI.

Yah sure humans are better than AI computers. Thats why the military uses AI to fly planes.

LMAO.

AI is coming and FSD is the best of them all.

First off it kills fewer people because theres so few EVs on the roads using them. Secondly it kills fewer people because the drivers take control and correct it when it makes mistakes.

The more EVs with FSD on the road the higher the likelihood it'll kill people.

FSD kills a lot less people than people do. The idea that it has to be perfect is ridiculous. It only has to be better than people and itโ€™s remarkably better.

Soon all the manufacturers will license teslas FSD and this will skyrocket

Every release is "revolutionary". 12.3.5 or whatever was and then it killed someone I believe.

Using reviews on X which is filled with bot accounts? Also you cant know how good it might be over a few days. Takes alot pf time for things to crop up.
