Trifast plc has been notified that Mr John Wilson sold 180,000 shares at 75.5p
on 20 August 2003. 

Mr Wilson, who retired as Group Finance Director at Trifast in January 2003,
remains a Non-Executive Director of the Group. Following this sale, Mr Wilson
holds 652,600 shares in the Company.
