The Board of Pacific Assets Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Robert Talbut as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, with effect from Friday, 23 September 2016.

Robert Talbut is currently a Non-Executive Director of Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund PLC and Shires Income PLC. He is also Chairman of EFG Asset Management (UK) Limited and is an independent member of Aviva Group’s Independent Governance Committee and an external adviser to Hiscox plc. He was formerly a Director and Chief Investment Officer at Royal London Asset Management Limited.

A resolution proposing the election of Mr Talbut as a Non-Executive Director will be considered by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on 29 June 2017.

Mr Talbut currently holds no ordinary shares in the Company.

There is no further information to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13R(2) to (6).
