AA is almost out of runway as far as available A/S goes. He needs to raise share count, then followed by massive dump and R/S. BK and zero (for shareholders) becomes a real possibility if he cannot follow this path.

Zero might be a stretch Master but $2's appear likely near term. The problem for AMC shareholders is that AMC has no choice but to sell more and more shares to raise cash to pay off debt, and selling shares down here is hugely dilutive. AA had the solution back in mid-2021 when AMC was selling up in the $47.50 - $60 range pre-RS, which equates with $475 - $600 today after the 1-for-10 RS, and the Apes opposed it and killed it. That was stupid. If AA had gotten the authorization from the shareholders for the new common shares back then, everything would have worked out and AMC would not be in the huge bind it is in now.

Well I will wait till they get the Q on the ticker and hope my brokerage allows me to buy AMCQ then. Because my brokerage does not allow any OTC stock purchases which I do not mind. Had plenty years back with SCOTTRADE and nothing but reorg FEES and the like depleting my account like no tomorrow !!!! Imagine having to pay MORE $$$ for OTC stocks that were LOSES to begin with but stuck in the account because the trading was frozen ! I had PLENTY ! I had a RED NEGATIVE BALANCE with those fees !!!

NO, and even when AMC reports on Q4 2024 in late February, based on the first 3 months and projected annual revenue for 2024, it will not reach anywhere near 2019 levels. But the issue and problem for AMC is not its revenue stream, but rather the mountain of debt under which it is being crushed. Each and every week and month a large percentage of its revenue necessarily goes to servicing its mountain of debt in the form of interest payments on the debt. AMC will never be able to become profitable unless and until it dramatically reduces its debt load. Consensus estimates for Q4 of 2024 are for AMC to report a pr share loss of (-.21) based on current weighted outstanding shares.

Pretty solid chance of BK. The company has something like a $1.5 billion negative net worth. Prudent Capitalist might have a better figure. RK cannot afford to throw money away like that. That being said, the customers probably would not know the difference. AMC could be an excellent investment post BK.

Is bankruptcy in the cards? Or will RK buy the company? Someone summon your all knowing RK for it's wisdom.
