Change
Judges Scientific, the group focused
on acquiring and developing companies in the scientific instrument
sector, announces the following changes to
the Board.
Hon. Alexander Hambro, current
Chairman of the Group, has decided to retire as Chair at the end of
2024. He will remain as a Non-Executive Director until he steps
down from the Board at the conclusion of the Group's next Annual
General Meeting which will take place in May 2025.
Ralph Elman, current Non-Executive
Director, will assume the role of
Non-Executive Chair of the Group on 1 January 2025.
David Cicurel, Chief Executive Officer,
commented: "Alex was one of our four
founding directors when the Company originally listed on the London
Stock Exchange in 2003. Since then, his wisdom, understanding of
the City and faith in our culture and business model have been
essential in us significantly scaling the Group from a £2m initial
investment to a market capitalisation of £580m and multiplying
shareholder value by 100 times. Alex, on behalf of all the Board,
we are extremely grateful for your substantial
contribution."
