its results for the first quarter of 2014. Except where stated
otherwise, the operating and financial information is presented on
a consolidated basis and the amounts are expressed in Brazilian
reais, in accordance with the International Financial Reporting
Standards (IFRS) Issued by the International Accounting Standards
Board (IASB) and the accounting practices adopted in Brazil. Comparisons are with the first quarter
of 2012 (1Q12) and the first quarter of 2013 (1Q13).
KEY 1Q14 RESULTS
Total gross revenue before consolidation: R$ 259.5 million or 14.7% more than 1Q13 and
24.0% higher than in 1Q12;
Consolidated net revenue: R$ 192.0
million or 14.6% higher than 1Q13 and 26.7% more than in
1Q12;
Net revenue from the domestic market: R$
107.4 million or 8.6% higher than 1Q13 and 23.9% more than
in 1Q12;
Net revenue from the export market: R$
84.6 million or 23.2% higher than in 1Q13 and 30.5% more
than 1Q12;
Fras-le Brazil Exports (FOB): US$ 23.5
million or 8.3% higher than in 1Q13 and 9.3% less than
1Q12;
Sales in foreign markets (exports and units abroad):
US$ 35.6 million or 5.9% more than
1Q13 and 2.7% less than 1Q12;
EBITDA: R$ 28.5 million or 31.6%
higher than in 1Q13 and 78.8% more than in 1Q12;
Consolidated gross profit: R$ 53.4
million or 26.6% improvement over 1Q13 and 48.3% more than
in 1Q12;
Consolidated net income: R$ 11.8
million or 86,3% increase over 1Q13 and 151,3% more
than in 1Q12.
