On May 17, 2019, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation (the “Company”) announced the
retirement of Board member Robert J. Brooks. The information required by Item 5.02(b) is incorporated by reference herein from the Company’s Proxy Statement for the Annual Meeting of Stockholders, dated April 5, 2019.

At the Annual Meeting of Stockholders of the Company on May 17, 2019, management proposals 1, 2, and 3 were approved. The proposals below are
