Anthem Inc. said Wednesday it would acquire home-health-benefits manager myNEXUS Inc.

Health-benefits company Anthem said it would buy myNEXUS, a home-based nursing management company for payors, from an investor group led by WindRose Health Investors, a New York-based healthcare private-equity firm. The company expects the deal to close in the second quarter of 2021.

MyNEXUS will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anthem and would join Anthem's Diversified Business Group.

Anthem didn't disclose the financial terms and said the company's 2021 EPS guidance remains unchanged as a result of this acquisition.
