Parkinson is known within the industry primarily for his film marketing and distribution skills, especially with respect to the U.S. Home Video Market. As a film distributor, he has handled the release of over 1,500 titles, including major hits such as "The Terminator", "Little Nemo" and "Highlander 2". During Parkinson's tenure as C.E.O. of Hemdale - a major independent production & distribution company - he earned over 100 RIAA / ITA Gold or Platinum Best Selling video awards, with 8 titles hitting # 1 on the Billboard video charts. As Hemdale Studio CEO, he has studio honorary credit behind the Best Picture Oscar winners, "Platoon" and "The Last Emperor." Schooled primarily in film production (University of Kansas and later at the University of Arkansas), Parkinson is also a skilled filmmaker, with extensive production credits, and a directorial (feature) debut ("Wildfire" just completed with a nationwide USA theatrical release set for late summer, 2024). Parkinson is currently directing and co-starring in the historic western epic, "Indian Territory."
As C.E.O. of Hemdale, Parkinson was responsible for paying off over $58-million in corporate debt that the company was carrying prior to his engagement - as well as the placement of the company's impressive film library within the MGM-UA family of companies. In 2002, he purchased Truman Press, Inc. d/b/a "Hannover House" and added DVD products to the book publishing line.
As of 2010, "Hannover House" was merged to become a publicly traded company (symbol OTC: HHSE). Parkinson has been the CEO of Hannover House since 2002. Hannover House has released over 450 titles to the DVD market during its first 20 years in the home media sector... and recently the company began to refocus efforts towards the release of theatrical feature films as the DVD business for independent titles grew increasingly competitive. Parkinson's father was public relations and marketing guru and author Hank Parkinson, whose Wichita, Kansas firm helped launch several major companies and publications including Pizza Hut, Delta Dental Plan and Campaign Insight.

Here's a quick summary and update of key activities, as requested by HHSE shareholders:
1). AUDIT PROGRESS - additional work is still occurring to provide proper supporting back-up of some key (historic) expenses (not from 2024, but still on the balance sheet and therefore, required for verification). That's been quite all consuming due to the logistics of locating old records form deep storage... and the requirement as of this week that "digital scans" of these are required in lieu of heavy file boxes full of paperwork. But despite the burden of this task.. the excitement in seeing the finish line just days away has given us the added boost of enthusiasm for our success.
2). TRUMP BOOK - We have approved the final drafting of the Barr McClellan manuscript and have the line-editor finishing the formatting and typesetting for the printer and the e-book editions. We have been promised a ready-to-stream E-Book file by the middle of next week... and we have informed Amazon and BN.com of this pending date for the E-Book edition. We will send the formatted text to our printers next week to get them back on track for the hard-cover print edition.
3). WILDFIRE - Hannover's attorney has been working for nearly a month with a major studio suitor to finalize the North American rights license. Meanwhile, we have engaged FREE DOLPHIN ENTERTAINMENT out of Paris, to represent the film in all territories and media outside of North America... and they are off to a HUGE launch with six-figure sales already closing. Accordingly, with our HHSE international sales in their capable hands, this will be the first year in 31 consecutive "Cannes Film Festivals" in which Eric Parkinson will NOT be attending. This is a major relief as it frees time to assure a proper up-list process, the Trump book release, and the upcoming DVD / Blu-Ray and Streaming release for UNHOLY SONG.
4). NATIVE FABLES - some final work is also occurring to finish this Native American themed feature anthology - for which Hannover House controls the Worldwide distribution rights. A major promotional campaign involving over 30 of the largest Native Tribes in North America will drive viewers to TUBI to watch this collection... and this should generate a significant revenue result for the project.
5). HHSE CEO - AS FEATURED EXPERT IN CINE-CIRCLE SEMINAR - London-based CINE CIRCLE - a consortium of independent producers from around the world - engaged Hannover House CEO Eric Parkinson as one of three expert lecturers on film distribution in a changing marketplace. This live-streamed event was watched by over 2,200 registrants... and has since been added to YOUTUBE with 1,500 views already achieved. One of the interesting measures-of-success is that Hannover House has already received 28 new project solicitations in the past three days from viewers of the seminar, ranging from completed movies, to fully funded productions needing a distribution partner... and all the way down to beginning packages (just a script or a few elements). Accordingly, we expect to move forward with involvements on several of the completed films... and some of the fully funded productions in progress. More to follow.

UNHOLY SONG - Some theatrical release activity continues for this indie-thriller, including a special event screening LAST NIGHT (Wed., April 16) at the LAEMMLE NOHO 7 in North Hollywood - for the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. YouTube Media Personality MATT RYAN interviewed some of the key CAST and CREW members for use in the upcoming "bonus" feature that will appear on the DVD and BluRay editions of UNHOLY SONG this coming September... in time for Halloween parties and activities! The film will play at theatres in NY and LA among other schedule theatrical dates over the next few weeks. Lastly, UNHOLY SONG has also been licensed for all territories and media outside of North America by FREE DOLPHIN ENTERTAINMENT.

Greetings HHSE Friends & Followers: There's a lot of activity in motion, so we will try to be brief in order to cover the most pressing of topics.
1). OTC-MARKETS UP-LIST STATUS - As mentioned in prior blogs, we have been advised to convert our financial reporting to a "cash" basis as opposed to accrual accounting. This has been done for the most part, but with some revenue exceptions for contractual receivables. Accordingly, futures-payments on contracts (whether in the form of a pre-sale payment guarantee, or an international sale license, or even for "mastering" and on-boarding fees for MYFLIX titles), will NOT be reported in our audited filings as REVENUES, but will be foot-noted as a contract receivable.
Under G.A.A.P. rules, most businesses do not record a sale as a receivable or revenue until AFTER delivery or shipment of merchandise (or the completion of a services contract for which payment is therefore undeniably due). With respect to MYFLIX mastering receivables, these only become collectible AFTER the launch of the MyFlix site... and international sales only become enforceable after a film is fully ready for delivery (or has been delivered, and is awaiting payment). It would be misleading to NOT include contract sales in financial footnotes, otherwise, an investor, lender or shareholder would not have an accurate view of the company's activities and financial future. However, for simplicity in having the company's 1120-S Corporate Returns conform to the cash balance sheet reporting for OTC Markets and Edgar, we are hereafter reporting on a CASH basis. The 12-31-2024 filings (posting tomorrow) will include both the accrual accounting year-end, and a separate balance sheet showing how these results will look under a fully Cash-Basis accounting.
SUNDAY NIGHT UPDATE: HHSE was just advised that the 12-31-2024 report being filed tomorrow with the OTC Markets should ONLY show the existing format of financial reporting that HHSE has been following for years (e.g., a mix of cash reporting and accrual for contracted sales). To also include a "cash only basis" balance sheet and financials may be confusing to shareholders and may violate the OTC rules, possibly resulting in the year-end report being declared deficient. Rather than risk that outcome, we will refrain from posting the cash-only basis financials until we file the OTC Markets Up-list (and audit letter) in April.
Timing wise, we will release the OTC Markets up-list application as soon as we receive the final blessing from auditors that our cash-basis adjustments (and all necessary back up) have been properly itemized and confirmed.
2). TRUMP BOOK - At the request of Barr McClellan, Hannover House delayed and rescheduled the release of his book (AMERICAN MANIFESTO) in order to enable Barr to include new information about the inauguration and the first 100-days of the second Trump Presidency. Hannover House has received delivery of the modified and updated manuscript and will be releasing the E-BOOK version in April and the hard-cover edition in June. The launch of the E-BOOK also triggers some very high profile television news appearances for both Barr McClellan and HHSE CEO Eric Parkinson - which should have a dramatic impact on sales of both formats.
3). WILDFIRE - Full delivery has been completed for master elements and documents regarding a major studio partnership for the release of this film... stand by for this significant news... which is positively impactful not only due to the prestige of a studio partner on HHSE's first major production... but also due to the significant upfront licensing fee.
4). UNHOLY SONG - The film continues to please audiences as its limited theatrical release rolls out... including two sold-out shows in Stockton, CA this weekend, and upcoming theatrical runs for LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK. The film will hit streaming services in June and DVD and Blu-Ray formats in August. Due to the size differential of a video package as compared to a full one-sheet theatrical poster, the DVD and Blu-Ray packaging will feature the "Witch in Flames" concept... as opposed to the smoking tape recorder that is seen on the film's theatrical poster. We are very excited to have contracted with FANGORIA for a major promotion in support of the STREAMING launch of UNHOLY SONG in June. The Fangoria support includes a feature story, a "website take over" (e.g., top banner and side ads), a color ad in the print edition of the magazine (at newsstands and Barnes & Noble Stores) and two outbound email blasts to subscribers and opt-in mailing list members. Collectively, the Fangoria support promises to deliver 3-million consumer impressions... most of which will have a HOT-LINK to the TUBI page for the film (HHSE gets paid EVERY TIME someone watches a film on TUBI).
One of the most successful elements of the UNHOLY SONG Marketing Campaign has been the production and distribution of the "COMIC BOOKS". Thousands of copies of these have been placed in theatre lobbies for up to four weeks prior to the film's opening at that location... and the cliff-hanger ending has fueled audience interest to see how it ends. From the data of results vs. locations without the comic books, the costs to design, print and distribute the comic books delivers a lower "per impression" cost - and more effective conversion rate - than any other major (and directly measurable) form of media outreach. This is superior and creative marketing on a shoe-string budget!

The business landscape is littered with hard-luck stories. Most new companies are out of business within 1, 3, & 5yr periods. Well over 90% don't make it to legacy earning or experience a PROFITABLE EXIT. Most are dissolved, or R/S their shareholders (which I DO VIEW as a FAILURE, for their shareholders).... Neither of which has happened here.
So I disagree. I believe: NONE HAVE FAILED,... if they haven't quit! (or R/S their shareholders; which is NOT the case here). The shareholders may have QUIT! Gone on hiatus, quit on themselves, their capital, their investment, their MONEY, cowered, run & hid,... Especially those who claim to CONTROL THE FLOAT (& there is some evidence that MAY be accurate) as they claim... & refuse to do anything with that leverage...
But in business, as in life, you only FAIL if you QUIT! To his credit, Eric has seen the company through some treacherous times; the passing of his partner, & a ton of litigious issues (that former attorney-partner Fred Shefte was presumed managing). It appears those days are LONG behind them. Since Fred's passing, I've not seen any NEW lawsuits or issues against the company. So THAT in & of itself is progress. And NOW the only question is, can they secure a hit, pocket some revenues, & start accumulating some WINS!? That remains to be seen... And, frankly, if true, the Trump Book ALONE could make a significant difference (in profile, awareness, attention, etc.) to the FUTURE of the company... The REALITY is that Barr McClellan (if he is so inclined) should write a Trump Book EVERY YEAR! That might be the BEST USE of the ASSET, subject matter, topic, etc.. The LACK OF EXECUTION is what ought to concern folks. But it is quickly & easily fixable...
There is NO SHORTAGE of interest in this public figure. He purposefully FLOODS THE ZONE & manipulates the NEWS/Media Cycle. MANY MANY BOOKS will be written about this "President". And if you ask me, Eric, Barr, HHSE, shareholders & the like should be ENCOURAGING MORE BOOKS (by Hannover House) & spending LESS TIME expanding the size of the CURRENT ONE (if they even have one to put forth -- it remains to BE SEEN)... That was a MISTAKE (again, from my pov).
But the stock, company, the BOOK ASSET (& where there's ONE there could be MORE) is topical, of GLOBAL interest, & potentially could help turn the company around. In this movie/book-publishing, etc., business ALL YOU NEED IS ONE HIT! And the attention, awareness, interest, etc., could support a THRIVING COMPANY!
So, I disagree. His pedigree is such that Eric has had success distributing films in the past. He has HITS to his name. Which suggests he can do it again. And I do think Trump is the appropriate subject-matter. But as I have been CRITICAL & OPEN in saying; they appear to have poor organization, marketing, planning & strategy here. EXTENDING Trump's book was DUMB! Write another... Nail down what you have, tighten it up, MAKE IT GREAT! And then do 3-5 more books, or see if you don't ATTRACT other authors who wish to weigh-in on the same subject,... HHSE needs to establish a PRESENCE outside of its' bubble. Restore credibility. BUILD on successes. They should WRITE IT, get it out, & announce he's writing ANOTHER follow-up near immediately with ANY SEMBLANCE of a successful launch! Trump might be the PERFECT SUBJECT MATTER & revenue stream for the company. But time is a WASTING! And if it is TRUE, that a former investment group (MCI, etc.) own & control the FLOAT in the stock, then they'd be DUMB not to engage, spread the word, broadcast, conduct outreach & HELP THE COMPANY with awareness, attention, interest, etc..
NO ONE FAILS -- unless they quit! If you're WILLING TO GET BACK UP -- after a setback; JUST LIKE TRUMP did,.... Then you have a CHANCE!! NO ONE embodied that more than President Trump (love him or hate him),... That's FACT!! Nice try though... Fight! Fight! Fight!!
Let them release a SECOND BOOK, "TOGETHER WE WIN!" ... A true, real-life, UNDERDOG STORY about what Trump went through, all the failures, bankruptcies (6x in Casino Business alone) & how he PERSEVERED in the face of legal issues, prison time, multiple obstacles, last-minute (unprecedented) change in candidate, all of it.... Capturing this historical figure in THAT LIGHT might prove to be a BESTSELLER & bring HHSE to prominence... Especially if Trump is successful in turning things around here. Once again, even for Trump, things looks rather bleak,... He appears to be DESTROYING the Economy... HHSE might benefit MIGHTILY from that book project that has FILM LICENSING RIGHTS' POTENTIAL as well... A chip & a chair. HHSE has a legit shot, but they have to EXECUTE on a STRATEGY to bring forth a revival in the company; something that, to this point, they do not appear to have accomplished... But, until they quit -- they have NOT FAILED! Just like Trump!

Here's a quick summary and update of key activities, as requested by HHSE shareholders:
1). AUDIT PROGRESS - additional work is still occurring to provide proper supporting back-up of some key (historic) expenses (not from 2024, but still on the balance sheet and therefore, required for verification). That's been quite all consuming due to the logistics of locating old records form deep storage... and the requirement as of this week that "digital scans" of these are required in lieu of heavy file boxes full of paperwork. But despite the burden of this task.. the excitement in seeing the finish line just days away has given us the added boost of enthusiasm for our success.
2). TRUMP BOOK - We have approved the final drafting of the Barr McClellan manuscript and have the line-editor finishing the formatting and typesetting for the printer and the e-book editions. We have been promised a ready-to-stream E-Book file by the middle of next week... and we have informed Amazon and BN.com of this pending date for the E-Book edition. We will send the formatted text to our printers next week to get them back on track for the hard-cover print edition.
3). WILDFIRE - Hannover's attorney has been working for nearly a month with a major studio suitor to finalize the North American rights license. Meanwhile, we have engaged FREE DOLPHIN ENTERTAINMENT out of Paris, to represent the film in all territories and media outside of North America... and they are off to a HUGE launch with six-figure sales already closing. Accordingly, with our HHSE international sales in their capable hands, this will be the first year in 31 consecutive "Cannes Film Festivals" in which Eric Parkinson will NOT be attending. This is a major relief as it frees time to assure a proper up-list process, the Trump book release, and the upcoming DVD / Blu-Ray and Streaming release for UNHOLY SONG.
4). NATIVE FABLES - some final work is also occurring to finish this Native American themed feature anthology - for which Hannover House controls the Worldwide distribution rights. A major promotional campaign involving over 30 of the largest Native Tribes in North America will drive viewers to TUBI to watch this collection... and this should generate a significant revenue result for the project.
5). HHSE CEO - AS FEATURED EXPERT IN CINE-CIRCLE SEMINAR - London-based CINE CIRCLE - a consortium of independent producers from around the world - engaged Hannover House CEO Eric Parkinson as one of three expert lecturers on film distribution in a changing marketplace. This live-streamed event was watched by over 2,200 registrants... and has since been added to YOUTUBE with 1,500 views already achieved. One of the interesting measures-of-success is that Hannover House has already received 28 new project solicitations in the past three days from viewers of the seminar, ranging from completed movies, to fully funded productions needing a distribution partner... and all the way down to beginning packages (just a script or a few elements). Greetings HHSE Friends & Followers: There's a lot of activity in motion, so we will try to be brief in order to cover the most pressing of topics.
1). OTC-MARKETS UP-LIST STATUS - As mentioned in prior blogs, we have been advised to convert our financial reporting to a "cash" basis as opposed to accrual accounting. This has been done for the most part, but with some revenue exceptions for contractual receivables. Accordingly, futures-payments on contracts (whether in the form of a pre-sale payment guarantee, or an international sale license, or even for "mastering" and on-boarding fees for MYFLIX titles), will NOT be reported in our audited filings as REVENUES, but will be foot-noted as a contract receivable.
Under G.A.A.P. rules, most businesses do not record a sale as a receivable or revenue until AFTER delivery or shipment of merchandise (or the completion of a services contract for which payment is therefore undeniably due). With respect to MYFLIX mastering receivables, these only become collectible AFTER the launch of the MyFlix site... and international sales only become enforceable after a film is fully ready for delivery (or has been delivered, and is awaiting payment). It would be misleading to NOT include contract sales in financial footnotes, otherwise, an investor, lender or shareholder would not have an accurate view of the company's activities and financial future. However, for simplicity in having the company's 1120-S Corporate Returns conform to the cash balance sheet reporting for OTC Markets and Edgar, we are hereafter reporting on a CASH basis. The 12-31-2024 filings (posting tomorrow) will include both the accrual accounting year-end, and a separate balance sheet showing how these results will look under a fully Cash-Basis accounting.
SUNDAY NIGHT UPDATE: HHSE was just advised that the 12-31-2024 report being filed tomorrow with the OTC Markets should ONLY show the existing format of financial reporting that HHSE has been following for years (e.g., a mix of cash reporting and accrual for contracted sales). To also include a "cash only basis" balance sheet and financials may be confusing to shareholders and may violate the OTC rules, possibly resulting in the year-end report being declared deficient. Rather than risk that outcome, we will refrain from posting the cash-only basis financials until we file the OTC Markets Up-list (and audit letter) in April.
Timing wise, we will release the OTC Markets up-list application as soon as we receive the final blessing from auditors that our cash-basis adjustments (and all necessary back up) have been properly itemized and confirmed.
2). TRUMP BOOK - At the request of Barr McClellan, Hannover House delayed and rescheduled the release of his book (AMERICAN MANIFESTO) in order to enable Barr to include new information about the inauguration and the first 100-days of the second Trump Presidency. Hannover House has received delivery of the modified and updated manuscript and will be releasing the E-BOOK version in April and the hard-cover edition in June. The launch of the E-BOOK also triggers some very high profile television news appearances for both Barr McClellan and HHSE CEO Eric Parkinson - which should have a dramatic impact on sales of both formats.
3). WILDFIRE - Full delivery has been completed for master elements and documents regarding a major studio partnership for the release of this film... stand by for this significant news... which is positively impactful not only due to the prestige of a studio partner on HHSE's first major production... but also due to the significant upfront licensing fee.
4). UNHOLY SONG - The film continues to please audiences as its limited theatrical release rolls out... including two sold-out shows in Stockton, CA this weekend, and upcoming theatrical runs for LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK. The film will hit streaming services in June and DVD and Blu-Ray formats in August. Due to the size differential of a video package as compared to a full one-sheet theatrical poster, the DVD and Blu-Ray packaging will feature the "Witch in Flames" concept... as opposed to the smoking tape recorder that is seen on the film's theatrical poster. We are very excited to have contracted with FANGORIA for a major promotion in support of the STREAMING launch of UNHOLY SONG in June. The Fangoria support includes a feature story, a "website take over" (e.g., top banner and side ads), a color ad in the print edition of the magazine (at newsstands and Barnes & Noble Stores) and two outbound email blasts to subscribers and opt-in mailing list members. Collectively, the Fangoria support promises to deliver 3-million consumer impressions... most of which will have a HOT-LINK to the TUBI page for the film (HHSE gets paid EVERY TIME someone watches a film on TUBI).
One of the most successful elements of the UNHOLY SONG Marketing Campaign has been the production and distribution of the "COMIC BOOKS". Thousands of copies of these have been placed in theatre lobbies for up to four weeks prior to the film's opening at that location... and the cliff-hanger ending has fueled audience interest to see how it ends. From the data of results vs. locations without the comic books, the costs to design, print and distribute the comic books delivers a lower "per impression" cost - and more effective conversion rate - than any other major (and directly measurable) form of media outreach. This is superior and creative marketing on a shoe-string budget!

Greetings HHSE Friends & Followers: There's a lot of activity in motion, so we will try to be brief in order to cover the most pressing of topics.
1). OTC-MARKETS UP-LIST STATUS - As mentioned in prior blogs, we have been advised to convert our financial reporting to a "cash" basis as opposed to accrual accounting. This has been done for the most part, but with some revenue exceptions for contractual receivables. Accordingly, futures-payments on contracts (whether in the form of a pre-sale payment guarantee, or an international sale license, or even for "mastering" and on-boarding fees for MYFLIX titles), will NOT be reported in our audited filings as REVENUES, but will be foot-noted as a contract receivable.
Under G.A.A.P. rules, most businesses do not record a sale as a receivable or revenue until AFTER delivery or shipment of merchandise (or the completion of a services contract for which payment is therefore undeniably due). With respect to MYFLIX mastering receivables, these only become collectible AFTER the launch of the MyFlix site... and international sales only become enforceable after a film is fully ready for delivery (or has been delivered, and is awaiting payment). It would be misleading to NOT include contract sales in financial footnotes, otherwise, an investor, lender or shareholder would not have an accurate view of the company's activities and financial future. However, for simplicity in having the company's 1120-S Corporate Returns conform to the cash balance sheet reporting for OTC Markets and Edgar, we are hereafter reporting on a CASH basis. The 12-31-2024 filings (posting tomorrow) will include both the accrual accounting year-end, and a separate balance sheet showing how these results will look under a fully Cash-Basis accounting.
SUNDAY NIGHT UPDATE: HHSE was just advised that the 12-31-2024 report being filed tomorrow with the OTC Markets should ONLY show the existing format of financial reporting that HHSE has been following for years (e.g., a mix of cash reporting and accrual for contracted sales). To also include a "cash only basis" balance sheet and financials may be confusing to shareholders and may violate the OTC rules, possibly resulting in the year-end report being declared deficient. Rather than risk that outcome, we will refrain from posting the cash-only basis financials until we file the OTC Markets Up-list (and audit letter) in April.
Timing wise, we will release the OTC Markets up-list application as soon as we receive the final blessing from auditors that our cash-basis adjustments (and all necessary back up) have been properly itemized and confirmed.
2). TRUMP BOOK - At the request of Barr McClellan, Hannover House delayed and rescheduled the release of his book (AMERICAN MANIFESTO) in order to enable Barr to include new information about the inauguration and the first 100-days of the second Trump Presidency. Hannover House has received delivery of the modified and updated manuscript and will be releasing the E-BOOK version in April and the hard-cover edition in June. The launch of the E-BOOK also triggers some very high profile television news appearances for both Barr McClellan and HHSE CEO Eric Parkinson - which should have a dramatic impact on sales of both formats.
3). WILDFIRE - Full delivery has been completed for master elements and documents regarding a major studio partnership for the release of this film... stand by for this significant news... which is positively impactful not only due to the prestige of a studio partner on HHSE's first major production... but also due to the significant upfront licensing fee.
4). UNHOLY SONG - The film continues to please audiences as its limited theatrical release rolls out... including two sold-out shows in Stockton, CA this weekend, and upcoming theatrical runs for LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK. The film will hit streaming services in June and DVD and Blu-Ray formats in August. Due to the size differential of a video package as compared to a full one-sheet theatrical poster, the DVD and Blu-Ray packaging will feature the "Witch in Flames" concept... as opposed to the smoking tape recorder that is seen on the film's theatrical poster. We are very excited to have contracted with FANGORIA for a major promotion in support of the STREAMING launch of UNHOLY SONG in June. The Fangoria support includes a feature story, a "website take over" (e.g., top banner and side ads), a color ad in the print edition of the magazine (at newsstands and Barnes & Noble Stores) and two outbound email blasts to subscribers and opt-in mailing list members. Collectively, the Fangoria support promises to deliver 3-million consumer impressions... most of which will have a HOT-LINK to the TUBI page for the film (HHSE gets paid EVERY TIME someone watches a film on TUBI).
One of the most successful elements of the UNHOLY SONG Marketing Campaign has been the production and distribution of the "COMIC BOOKS". Thousands of copies of these have been placed in theatre lobbies for up to four weeks prior to the film's opening at that location... and the cliff-hanger ending has fueled audience interest to see how it ends. From the data of results vs. locations without the comic books, the costs to design, print and distribute the comic books delivers a lower "per impression" cost - and more effective conversion rate - than any other major (and directly measurable) form of media outreach. This is superior and creative marketing on a shoe-string budget!

During Parkinson's tenure as C.E.O. of Hemdale - a major independent production & distribution company - he earned over 100 RIAA / ITA Gold or Platinum Best Selling video awards, with 8 titles hitting # 1 on the Billboard video charts. As Hemdale Studio CEO, he has studio honorary credit behind the Best Picture Oscar winners, "Platoon" and "The Last Emperor." Schooled primarily in film production (University of Kansas and later at the University of Arkansas), Parkinson is also a skilled filmmaker, with extensive production credits, and a directorial (feature) debut ("Wildfire" just completed with a nationwide USA theatrical release set for late summer, 2024). Here's a quick summary and update of key activities, as requested by HHSE shareholders:
1). AUDIT PROGRESS - additional work is still occurring to provide proper supporting back-up of some key (historic) expenses (not from 2024, but still on the balance sheet and therefore, required for verification). That's been quite all consuming due to the logistics of locating old records form deep storage... and the requirement as of this week that "digital scans" of these are required in lieu of heavy file boxes full of paperwork. But despite the burden of this task.. the excitement in seeing the finish line just days away has given us the added boost of enthusiasm for our success.
2). TRUMP BOOK - We have approved the final drafting of the Barr McClellan manuscript and have the line-editor finishing the formatting and typesetting for the printer and the e-book editions. We have been promised a ready-to-stream E-Book file by the middle of next week... and we have informed Amazon and BN.com of this pending date for the E-Book edition. We will send the formatted text to our printers next week to get them back on track for the hard-cover print edition.
3). WILDFIRE - Hannover's attorney has been working for nearly a month with a major studio suitor to finalize the North American rights license. Meanwhile, we have engaged FREE DOLPHIN ENTERTAINMENT out of Paris, to represent the film in all territories and media outside of North America... and they are off to a HUGE launch with six-figure sales already closing. Peak annualized revenues for the company hit $20-million in 2007, when the company had a dozen feature film titles in the DVD budget bins at Walmart and Target stores. But the slow decline of the DVD sell-through market in favor of in-home streaming, brought a significant drop in revenues for Hannover during the past 10 years - as the company worked to reinvent its business model to pursue more lucrative activities.

First up for HHSE this year is a highly touted new book from best-selling author, Barr McClellan. "AMERICAN MANIFESTO: The Unstoppable Journey of President Donald J. Trump" will hit bookstores in late February, following a major promotional partnership with both Truth Social and the "X" social media platform. The book goes behind-the-scenes of the Trump campaign in 2024, to reveal strategies that successfully attracted voters from demographic groups that were long presumed to be democratic strongholds. As such, the book has great historic value as well as providing enlightening insights for both Republicans and Democrats on effective campaign strategies.
Also, in late February, the company is releasing the acclaimed horror-thriller, UNHOLY SONG to approximately 350 theaters in the United States. The company is concentrating on booking the film into the top performing locations for other independent, horror titles, such as the recently released hit, "TERRIFIER 3," which has already grossed over $90 million in worldwide revenues. HHSE feels that Unholy Song is on track to gross over $10 million for the company, as well as to spark a new franchise series. Hannover House has already green-lit production for UNHOLY SONG 2, to be shot in northern California in July. Discussions are already underway for a third installment in the series as well.
Also releasing this spring to theaters is the long awaited family feature, WILDFIRE: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse," starring Anne Heche, Mo Brings Plenty ("Yellowstone") and Adrian Paul ("Highlander"). The film premiered last November at the Lone Star Film Festival in Fort Smith - but was delayed from release in order to complete some new music tracks, picture tweaks, and a 7.1 surround mix. HHSE is targeting approximately 300 theatres for the April 18 theatrical release, before a high profile streaming debut. Hannover House is forecasting revenues of $5.5 million from this title.
On a higher profile front, the company has closed financing arrangements for two major feature productions that collectively will cost over $35 million to produce. These features will be announced in detail separately, but will have a significant and positive impact to the company balance sheet, as well as providing high profile locomotive titles for the company's distribution activities. Both of these features have major level stars attached.
Regarding the company's stock, HHSE has taken steps to improve access for investors interested in purchasing its stock shares. This has been done through a recently enacted policy change with E*TRADE financial, as well as the company's forthcoming application to up-list the stock to the OTC: QB markets trading platform. At present, the company stock is traded on the OTC pink sheets, which Parkinson feels has less credibility with major investors and stock traders than some of the higher profile exchanges.

Greetings HHSE Friends & Followers: There's a lot of activity in motion, so we will try to be brief in order to cover the most pressing of topics.
1). OTC-MARKETS UP-LIST STATUS - As mentioned in prior blogs, we have been advised to convert our financial reporting to a "cash" basis as opposed to accrual accounting. This has been done for the most part, but with some revenue exceptions for contractual receivables. Accordingly, futures-payments on contracts (whether in the form of a pre-sale payment guarantee, or an international sale license, or even for "mastering" and on-boarding fees for MYFLIX titles), will NOT be reported in our audited filings as REVENUES, but will be foot-noted as a contract receivable.
Under G.A.A.P. rules, most businesses do not record a sale as a receivable or revenue until AFTER delivery or shipment of merchandise (or the completion of a services contract for which payment is therefore undeniably due). With respect to MYFLIX mastering receivables, these only become collectible AFTER the launch of the MyFlix site... and international sales only become enforceable after a film is fully ready for delivery (or has been delivered, and is awaiting payment). It would be misleading to NOT include contract sales in financial footnotes, otherwise, an investor, lender or shareholder would not have an accurate view of the company's activities and financial future. However, for simplicity in having the company's 1120-S Corporate Returns conform to the cash balance sheet reporting for OTC Markets and Edgar, we are hereafter reporting on a CASH basis. The 12-31-2024 filings (posting tomorrow) will include both the accrual accounting year-end, and a separate balance sheet showing how these results will look under a fully Cash-Basis accounting. SUNDAY NIGHT UPDATE: HHSE was just advised that the 12-31-2024 report being filed tomorrow with the OTC Markets should ONLY show the existing format of financial reporting that HHSE has been following for years (e.g., a mix of cash reporting and accrual for contracted sales). To also include a "cash only basis" balance sheet and financials may be confusing to shareholders and may violate the OTC rules, possibly resulting in the year-end report being declared deficient. Rather than risk that outcome, we will refrain from posting the cash-only basis financials until we file the OTC Markets Up-list (and audit letter) in early April.
Timing wise, we will release the OTC Markets up-list application as soon as we receive the final blessing from auditors that our cash-basis adjustments (and all necessary back up) have been properly itemized and confirmed. This will likely be within two weeks.
2). TRUMP BOOK - At the request of Barr McClellan, Hannover House delayed and rescheduled the release of his book (AMERICAN MANIFESTO) in order to enable Barr to include new information about the inauguration and the first 100-days of the second Trump Presidency. Hannover House has received delivery of the modified and updated manuscript and will be releasing the E-BOOK version in April and the hard-cover edition in June. The launch of the E-BOOK also triggers some very high profile television news appearances for both Barr McClellan and HHSE CEO Eric Parkinson - which should have a dramatic impact on sales of both formats.
3). WILDFIRE - Full delivery has been completed for master elements and documents regarding a major studio partnership for the release of this film... stand by for this significant news... which is positively impactful not only due to the prestige of a studio partner on HHSE's first major production... but also due to the significant upfront licensing fee.
4). UNHOLY SONG - The film continues to please audiences as its limited theatrical release rolls out... including two sold-out shows in Stockton, CA this weekend, and upcoming theatrical runs for LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK. The film will hit streaming services in June and DVD and Blu-Ray formats in August. Due to the size differential of a video package as compared to a full one-sheet theatrical poster, the DVD and Blu-Ray packaging will feature the "Witch in Flames" concept... as opposed to the smoking tape recorder that is seen on the film's theatrical poster. We are very excited to have contracted with FANGORIA for a major promotion in support of the STREAMING launch of UNHOLY SONG in June. The Fangoria support includes a feature story, a "website take over" (e.g., top banner and side ads), a color ad in the print edition of the magazine (at newsstands and Barnes & Noble Stores) and two outbound email blasts to subscribers and opt-in mailing list members. Collectively, the Fangoria support promises to deliver 3-million consumer impressions... most of which will have a HOT-LINK to the TUBI page for the film (HHSE gets paid EVERY TIME someone watches a film on TUBI).
One of the most successful elements of the UNHOLY SONG Marketing Campaign has been the production and distribution of the "COMIC BOOKS." Thousands of copies of these have been placed in theatre lobbies for up to four weeks prior to the film's opening at that location... and the cliff-hanger ending has fueled audience interest to see how it ends. From the data of results vs. locations without the comic books, the costs to design, print and distribute the comic books delivers a lower "per impression" cost - and more effective conversion rate - than any other major (and directly measurable) form of media outreach. This is superior and creative marketing on a shoe-string budget!
