EBay Inc., which said in 2018 that it would start intermediating
payments on its marketplace platform, said Tuesday that the U.K.
will become its third market for managed payments.
The company said it has "seen great success in the U.S. and
Germany" for the managed payments program.
EBay said the rollout has been "paced by" the terms of an
operating agreement with PayPal Holdings Inc., which expires in the
second half of 2020.
