                     HERCULES APPOINTS NEW FINANCE DIRECTOR

Hercules Property Services PLC, the property management, consultancy and
insurance group, today announces that it has appointed Nigel Davis to the Board
as Finance Director, with effect from 29 January 2002.  He succeeds Paul Davis
who is transitioning into the position of Group Commercial Director.

Nigel Davis, 48, a qualified accountant with a Masters degree in Corporate
Finance, joins Hercules from The Crest Group Incorporated where he served as
Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director for the last four years,
responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business operations.
Prior to The Crest Group, Nigel worked in similar positions at Hanson and Crydom
Corporation.  At Hercules he will be responsible for overseeing all financial
business matters.

In his new role as Group Commercial Director, Paul Davis will be responsible for
overseeing the management of the group's marketing, sales and corporate
development activities, assisting all the group's businesses in determining
strategic direction and implementing business development plans.  This will
include sourcing and managing acquisitions as well as developing partnerships,
strategic alliances and new business ventures.
