Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd
announces that assays for the surface work from the 2008
exploration program on the 100 % owned BA claims have been
received. Assays indicate that at least 4 kilometers of mineralized
horizon have been outlined on the BA property. The BA claims are
located 30 km east of Stewart in the Skeena mining division
approximately 3 kilometers south of paved Highway 37A. Highlights
of sampling include 56.5 g/t silver, 0.71% lead and 5.31% zinc
and 81.4 g/t silver, 0.86% lead and 6.23% zinc in a mineralized
horizon 500 meters north of the area drilled in the 2006-2008
exploration. The company believes that the mineralized zone
represents the upper portion of a Kuroko-type volcanogenic massive
sulphide (VMS) system composed of an exhalite horizon with related
zinc-lead-silver mineralization. This mineralization consisting of
finely bedded sphalerite and pyrite with minor galena and
chalcopyrite occurs below the main exhalite (red jasper/green to
grey chert) horizon and is located within mudstones, mudstone
breccias and dacite breccias. It appears that at least 12
kilometers of favorable horizon is located on the property.
Significant assays for the grab sampling are listed below:

2.79 93.9 ----------------------------------------------------
BA-08-13 7.44 1.05 28.9
---------------------------------------------------- Samples BA
08-1 to 2 are from a partly exposed mudstone horizon zone in excess
of 10 meters exposed in the bank of a gulley. BA-08-03 is from a
float sample of dacite in the area of Samples BA-08-1 and 2.
Samples BA-5 and 6 are from dacite located 150 meters northwest of
BA-08-1 and 2. Sample BA-08-11 is from float rock located 3
kilometers south of the BA drilling. BA-08-12 and 13 are from a
lower horizon relative to BA-08-1 and 2 with BA-08-12 from a
30 meter thick horizon. The Company has 36 drill holes that
will be logged and sampled in the near future. E. Kruchkowski, P.
Geo., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, is in
charge of the exploration program on behalf of the Company. Drill
core and surface samples are assayed by Assayers Canada of
Vancouver, BC. Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd is a Canadian based
