Paul Pelosi Jr. Joins Tree Top Industries Advisory Board
June 22 2010 - 8:55AM
Tree Top Industries, Inc. (OTCBB:TTII) appointed Paul Pelosi Jr. to
its Advisory Board counseling the Company regarding its Universal
Energy subsidiary, including BioEnergy Applied Technologies
("BAT").
Kathy Griffin, President, stated, "We're focused on development
of hazardous waste destruction technology. Paul's wide range of
experience and national and international contacts, should
accelerate our progress. Pharmaceutical, chemical and medical ("red
bag") waste are recognized as serious threats to the environment,
polluting water systems due to improper storage. Tree Top is
working to alleviate this problem by seeking partners to help us
commercialize BAT technology."
David Reichman, Chairman, and Mr. Pelosi plan to travel to
Vietnam and China to meet potential investors and are attempting to
arrange meetings in Washington DC with appropriate Federal
agencies. By commercializing our hazardous waste destruction
units, we can become a significant industry participant. The annual
cost of storing and/or destroying hazardous waste is in the
billions of dollars (2009 Annual Pharma Review). Our system
destroys the waste entirely utilizing cold plasma technology,
eliminates the need for storage, and produces clean reusable energy
as a byproduct."
Paul Pelosi, a WR Hambrecht Investment Banker
and an advisor to NASA Ames Research Center, has over 15 years'
experience advising emerging and Fortune 500 companies on finance,
infrastructure, sustainability and public policy. He is a founding
member of Cisco Connected Urban Development and worked with San
Francisco, Birmingham, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Lisbon, Madrid and Seoul
to demonstrate how network connectivity reduces carbon emissions in
urban environments.
In 2003, San Francisco Mayor, Willie Brown, appointed him to the
city's Commission on the Environment. The commission develops
policies and programs in recycling, toxics reduction, environmental
justice, energy efficiency, commute alternatives, climate change,
and the city's urban forest. He currently serves as President of
the Commission.
