THE CREATIVE EDUCATION CORPORATION PLC ("CEC" or "THE COMPANY")

The Company has raised #252,192.50 by way of a placing of 5,043,850 new ordinary
shares of 1p each at a placing price of 5p. Application has been made for the
new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment
Market of the London Stock exchange and dealings are expected to commence on
Thursday 4 December 2003.

The shares will rank pari passu with existing shares in issue.
