THE CREATIVE EDUCATION CORPORATION PLC ("CEC" or "THE COMPANY")

3 October 2003

The Company has raised #265,000 by way of a placing of 5,300,000 new ordinary
shares of 1p each at a placing price of 5p.

As a result of this placing, Hoodless Brennan & Partners plc will have a holding
of 3.47% of the enlarged issued share capital.

Application has been made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading
on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange and dealings
are expected to commence on 8 October 2003.

The shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares in issue.
