Halliburton Appoints New Western Hemisphere President

Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL) is pleased to announce that Mark
Richard, currently senior vice president of the Northern Region,
has been promoted to succeed Jim Brown as president of the Western
Hemisphere effective Feb. 1, 2019.

his substantial industry knowledge and established customer
relationships well position him to guide the strategic direction
and operations of our Western Hemisphere business,” said Jeff
Miller, chairman, president, and CEO of Halliburton. “Over the
course of his more than 30-year career at Halliburton, Mark has
proven himself to be an exceptional leader and valued member of our
executive management team.”

Mr. Richard began his career with Halliburton in 1984 in the
Gulf of Mexico. Since then, he held numerous positions of
increasing responsibility at the Company, including vice president
of the Gulf of Mexico Region, senior vice president of the Asia
Pacific Region, and senior vice president of the Europe/Sub-Saharan
Africa (ESSA) and Eurasia Regions, and senior vice president of
Global Business Development & Marketing. Mr. Richard holds a
Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Louisiana State
University (LSU), and is a member of the LSU Engineering Advisory
Board.
