Agreed. The shorts will once again eat their lunch. The only way out if for Plug to become profitable. Unless they can grow their sales, cut cost, have some pricing power it will be hard to do. Most others are going under, and a few are getting by but not made the blunders Andy has by spreading us too thin with his shotgun approach. Now they figured it out, but it may be too late.

so whats your point?...plug is 8 cents from dropping under a buck once again...plug wants more authorized shares so they can dilute to keep the lights on...as they dilute, the pps IS going to drop and they will VERY QUICKLY find themselves in a worse position than they were in less than a month ago...

without a reverse split, plug wont have to worry about nasdaq rules because they will be on the OTC...with a split, they can buy time, comfortably dilute and hopefully get themselves out of the hole they dug for themselves...its doubtful, but they would at least have a shot...but understand, thats what would be good for the company...it would be a shit show for shareholders...there is almost no scenario that ends up well for shareholders...

Under the NEW ‘Nasdaq Excessive Reverse Stock Split Rule’, it's unwise to conduct a reverse stock split unless absolutely necessary. If the stock falls below $1 again, the company would not be allowed to perform another reverse split, increasing the risk of delisting.

“Under the Nasdaq Excessive Reverse Stock Split Rule, if a company’s security fails to meet the minimum bid price requirement and the company has effected a reverse stock split within the prior one-year period, it will not be eligible for any compliance period to address a bid price deficiency. This restriction applies even if the company was in compliance with the minimum bid price requirement at the time of its prior reverse stock split.”

Senate Readies Tax Bill for Vote as Holdouts Threaten Delay (2)
June 23, 2025, Erik Wasson
...
Fiscal hawks seeking to lower the bill’s total price tag are at odds with Republicans worried about cuts to Medicaid health coverage for their constituents and phase-outs to green energy incentives that support jobs in their states.
...
Senate Republicans plan to begin the multi-step process to vote on Trump’s tax and spending cut bill mid-week, setting up final passage in the latter half of the week or over the weekend. That timeline would allow the House to vote on the latest version next week and meet Trump’s goal of enacting his signature bill by July 4.
...
Renewable energy incentives continue to divide the party as well, with some conservatives pushing for a faster phase-out of tax breaks for wind, solar, nuclear, geothermal and hydrogen. Other senators are angling to keep the breaks in place for projects that have already begun.

Lisa Murkowski, a GOP holdout in the Senate, told MSNBC on Monday she would prefer to focus on good policy rather than meeting an “arbitrary” deadline.

And you trust them not to do a RS? Of course, they will after they exhaust the shares again and dilute shareholders and the stock goes back down under $1. If you have learned nothing with Plug is trust what they do and not what they say.

That is until they issue more shares and dilute shareholders once again making what was $100 and now $1 become .10 and soon thereafter .01. Then they can do it once again. THey will always make their millions, but shareholders will get hurt.

The house parliamentarian has stated it doesn't meet criteria for a 50% vote so will need 60% …

not sure why this isnt getting more attention. The main reason is they cannot mess with the IRA and other subsidy legislation via this process. So they will need to take all this out in order to get the tax cuts extended.
👍 2

The Senate is eyeing some changes to the House’s bill, but nothing that alters its basic structure. For instance, the Senate is weighing less aggressive cuts to clean energy funding and more aggressive Medicaid spending reductions.

Senate GOP leaders are hoping to hold a vote on the package this week. They can only afford three defections, assuming all Democrats oppose the bill, and several Republican senators have raised an array of concerns with it.
The final product that passes the Senate will also need to go back through the House before it can go to Trump’s desk for a signature.

igtm - We Agree !

PLUG will do a Reverse Split in 2025 and put fresh juice in Plug Shares for Shorts to squeeze out .... AGAIN !

I really hope they do a 10 for one or 20 for one split.

This entire Reverse Split / Increased Share Limit is BAD NEWS for Plug investors.

THINK - Why did Plug schedule the AGM right before a 3+day holiday ?

To give the market time to cool off from the Bad News.

"If Proposal 2 is approved, we will not implement a reverse stock split to increase the number of our authorized shares."

the reverse split increases the pps so that when dilution begins, and the inevitable drop in pps follows, plug doesnt have to worry about delisting...

if plug does not reverse split but increases the authorized shares, when dilution occurs and the pps drops (which it will), they will be looking at falling below $1.00 again...the pps is currently only at $1.11, so it wont take much of a drop...

i dont see how plug can avoid a reverse split...

It is necessary to vote in favor of Proposal 2 to increase the number of authorized shares and help the company avoid a future ‘going concern’ warning. I think Proposal 3 could have a more negative impact on the share price.

- Plug has 1.5 billion authorized shares
- 1,146,559,359 shares outstanding + warrants
- Plug Power has approximately 100 million shares remaining for issuance.

Plug likely has sufficient funding for the current year. However, to avoid a ‘going concern’ warning, the company must demonstrate in each quarterly report that it has enough funding to cover the next 12 months. They must show a credible ability to raise enough capital if needed.
With the number of authorized shares nearly maxed out, Plug cannot utilize its $1 billion at-the-market (ATM) offering with B. Riley Securities or its $1 billion stock purchase agreement with Yorkville Advisors. Hence, the high-interest $525 million credit facility in May.
To regain the flexibility to raise funds through these financial instruments, the company must increase the number of authorized shares. This doesn’t mean they need to issue new shares immediately, only that the option must be available.
Issuing shares at a significantly higher price in the future could help the company repay the $525 million high-interest credit facility from May and reduce its overall interest expense.
👍️ 2
B_B! B_B! 1 day ago
The authorized share limit is nearly reached. The goal of both Proposals 2 and 3 is to enable the company to issue significantly more shares in order to maintain its ability to operate. Initially, the reverse stock split was necessary to avoid Nasdaq delisting. However, with the Nasdaq warning now avoided and if the proposal to increase authorized shares is rejected, the primary purpose of a reverse split would be to create room to issue significantly more additional shares.
A reverse stock split does not increase the number of Plug's authorized shares, but it does reduce the number of outstanding shares, thereby creating room to issue significantly more additional shares.

For example, a 1-for-5 reverse stock split would reduce the number of outstanding shares by 80%. Instead of 1,146,559,359 shares (outstanding as of June 5), the number would drop to approximately 229,311,872.
Given an authorized share count of 1.5 billion, the company would then have 1,270,688,128 shares available for issuance (1,500,000,000 – 229,311,872 = 1,270,688,128).

trunk - We agree !

I use the term : Different horses for different courses. And we will need all sources and forms of energy.

Presently, the group having the most success with hydrogen are those who produce hydrogen as a petrochemical feedstock more than as a fuel.
Hydrogen vehicles for instance are Failing because hydrogen as an on-road motorfuel is not the "right horse" for the course.

For use indoors (forklifts) where air quality is critical, hydrogen is a good application is some instances. But as a fuel for backup generation, there are other "horses" much better suited to the task like natural gas.

Another term I often use is, "Technically hydrogen works, but Economically hydrogen doesn't.".

So as we look at all forms of energy and apply economics to the decision making, hydrogen has some serious limitations due to the lack of infrastructure/supply and cost.

This is why Amazon, Google, Oracle and other have ALL DROPPED HYDROGEN from their Data Center Plans.

Hydrogen is in a class by itself, its cleaner, more efficient, and the by product is drinkable water if treated. Natural gas and hydrogen have different uses, transported differently, and will always have their own markets.

Why would a Data Center need hydrogen if there is already Natural Gas on site ?

SK will use the LNG to produce the Electricity for the Korean Grid which in turn will supply the data center. The natural gas (the NG in LNG) will also supply the backup generators AWS requires .
There is no need for  producing expensive hydrogen for this project and Jegu is an island hundreds of miles fro Ulsan.

Plug Power should consider running an advertisement on conservative media channels to highlight its leadership as a US company pioneering hydrogen solutions, ahead of global competitors, including China. The objective would be to encourage House and Senate Republicans to reconsider their stance on the 45V tax credit. Without Plug Power, the United States will fall behind in the global hydrogen race.

Maria Cantwell (MC) Presses Energy Secretary Chris Wright (CW) On Elimination Of Hydrogen Tax Credits
June 18, 2025 (time 2.53 /5:50)

MC
Do you support eliminating 45V? Maybe this was asked by my colleague while I was gone, but 45V hydrogen production tax credit is being. It was proposed to be eliminated. Do you support that? or where are you on this hydrogen tax credit?

CW
The government record in picking winners and losers and subsidizing in energy is a very poor one. So my, my default position is the less government involvement on the scales of energy sources, the better. I realize in the real world that's not possible, so we've got to get rid of, you've got to prioritize which ones are the most offensive, and I mentioned wind, solar, and batteries certainly as as. that we've subsidized and they've led to more expensive electricity. I would put them maybe at the most offensive. Hydrogen, it's tough with the, it's tough with the math to see how in the long term it becomes a meaningful commercial energy source.

MC

Can I get you to tell me about the hydrogen hubs, whether you believe you support the hydrogen hubs and moving forward on this?

CW
So we put together, as I'm sure you've heard and we've published it on the website, you know, this project review process. We have a cross functional team that evaluates every project. We're going through 500 projects.

MC
But is that data call a way to kill the projects, or no, you really believe in funding some?

CW
It's, oh, absolutely. No, we, we, we, we are funding plenty of projects right. And we don't stop funding any project. We're funding all of the existing projects right now, and when we evaluate them, you know, plenty of projects will pass. Plenty of projects will pass. Other projects will say, hey, if we can you modify it this way to make it much more beneficial? Some projects will be modified and some projects will be ended.

MC
What application are you most excited about? In a hydrogen hub area, what application? Fertilizer, jet fuel, something else. What are you most excited about?

CW
Well, so the highest value use of hydrogen, right? So it's expensive to produce, but there are high value uses of hydrogen we produce it today commercially because in refining it's very high value in fertilizers and materials in chemistry. The problem is what's the cost to produce the hydrogen and are there, are there uses of it that their value is above the cost? I say energy is about two things. It's just about people and math.

It seems that South Korean companies are more focused on producing green hydrogen abroad and then shipping it back to South Korea.
Plug Power is the first and only green hydrogen producer on Jeju Island and possibly in all of South Korea.
SK is a gas company and probably more focus on gray and blue hydrogen.
I think, like most of Plug Power's partners, their objective is to learn from Plug Power's technologies and experience, not to make rapid progress, but to move slowly until Plug runs out of money and the joint venture is dissolved.

Banger - Yes.

Too many to list. Many small start-ups, plus some of the usual suspects.

No project is successful or commercial, yet. The big cost is purifying the hydrogen which is not 100% pure coming out of the ground.

Lots of other things are in the mixture like moisture, acetlyene, methane. Hydrogen like to connect with other molecules.

As its a holiday in the US, here's something I have been wondering about (but not PLUG related yet).

What is the status of companies trying to capture the natural (white) hydrogen within the earths crust? I see a regular stream of articles about more reservoirs being found but nothing about which companies are developing the capability to safely extract it. Are there any? Are there any projects actually trying to do it yet?

Here's a FUN FACT :

"An incredible 99 per cent of globally produced hydrogen is made from fossil fuels, according to the International Energy Agency – the same fossil fuels that are the largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and thus to the climate crisis. In 2024 global hydrogen production was responsible for over 900 million tonnes (Mt) of CO2 emissions.

That’s more than was emitted by the global aviation industry (almost 800Mt) and significantly more than Germany’s CO2 emissions (635 Mt), the EU’s most polluting economy."

Andy owns this company and can play it the way he wants. That’s why we sit here at a buck. Shame he’s an ole selfish prick
