Global Med Technologies(R), Inc. (OTC:GLOB) (BULLETIN BOARD: GLOB)

its global sales efforts with recent international placements of
its Wyndgate Technologies(R) division's blood bank information
systems. Primary markets for this initiative include the Pacific
Rim, Canada, the European Union, the Middle East, and Africa. To

Willman commented, "Concurrent with Global Med's push into
international markets, we have hired sales and marketing personnel,
as well as implementation specialists. These various personnel
reside in Canada, Europe and Africa. In addition, we are looking at
hiring individuals in the Pacific Rim." Mr. Willman continued,
"Since the quality of our products and services has heightened the
demand for our software both domestically and internationally, we
are very excited about the Global market place and its potential
impact on the Company's business." Thomas Marcinek, President and
COO of Global Med Technologies, Inc., stated, "With Wyndgate
Technologies making substantial inroads into the domestic market
(see previous press releases), further growth can also be
established through dedicated focus on international opportunities.
Preliminary analysis of the international opportunity has revealed
a significantly larger potential for our technology than the $400
million domestic market we have been so successful in pursuing. In
the last six months, international placements have added revenue to
Global Med and verified international demand. Consistent with the
Company's goal to be in a dominant position in world markets, Mr.
Willman is an excellent and logical choice to help management
execute on its business plan." Mr. Marcinek continued, "Global
Med's addition of sales and implementation resources to concentrate
on international opportunities testifies to its belief in the
potential of these markets. As new international opportunities
arise, additional resources will be added." About Global Med
