staff selected Wyndgate's SafeTrace donor management system for its
comprehensive safety features, as well as its application

manual processes currently being performed in our donor service.
Wyndgate, with its expertise in the blood bank industry, has

agreement with Suncoast Communities Blood Bank, a prestigious

optimize its donor operations," said Thomas F. Marcinek, President
and COO of Global Med Technologies, Inc. About Suncoast Communities
Blood Bank In 1949, O. K. Fike and Dr. Millard White founded the
region's first blood bank, located within Sarasota Memorial
Hospital. In 1999, the celebration of 50 years of service to the
lower west coast of Florida was heralded by 50 events in 50 weeks
and the adoption of a new motto, "Generous Hearts Saving Precious
Lives". The dawn of the next millennium saw the expansion of the
Sarasota Community Blood Bank. With the acquisition of the former
Gulf Area Regional Blood Bank in Venice, the blood bank now
provides opportunities for blood donations to citizens in Sarasota,
DeSoto, and Charlotte counties. For more information about Suncoast
