Dear Sirs:

I hereby address you on behalf of Empresa Distribuidora y Comercializadora Norte S.A. (EDENOR) (the “Company”) in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, in order to inform that the Board of Directors of the Company, in its meeting held today, decided to approve the extension of the term of the Technical Advisory Contract, originally subscribed on April 4^th 2006 between Edenor and Electricidad Argentina S.A. (EASA). In compliance of sections 72 and 73 of the Capital Market Law, the Audit Committee has expressed its approval to the mentioned addendum. In said regard, Shareholders are informed that said decision is available at the Company’s headquarters.
