Anthem Inc. said its affiliated health plans will waive member costs for Covid-19 testing.

The health benefits company also said prior authorization isn't required for diagnostic services related to Covid-19 testing.

"These actions today should reduce barriers to seeing a doctor, getting tested and maintaining adherence to medications for long-term health issues," said Chief Executive Gail K. Boudreaux.
