SHANGHAI, China, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Visteon Corporation (NYSE:VC), a leader in vehicle audio and infotainment systems, has started production of a Bluetooth(R) hands-free system developed jointly with Parrot to equip the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in China. This program completes the portfolio of high-end Bluetooth(R) hands-free systems with voice recognition, which Visteon has launched previously for Nissan in North America and other key markets, based on Visteon Voice Technology(R). Visteon is the integrator of the Bluetooth(R) hands-free system, which includes Parrot innovations such as digital signal processing techniques, as well as a high degree of compatibility with mobile phone devices. The Visteon/Parrot collaboration enables Visteon to offer advanced features in hands-free telephony to consumers at a competitive price.
