SRS Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ: SRSL), officially recognized as
one of America’s Greatest Brands and the industry leader in
surround sound, audio and voice technologies, today announced that
recording artist, Ke$ha, won the SRS TheaterSound™-equipped 46-inch
Samsung 3DTV being raffled off in SRS’ audio lounge in the
Backstage Creations Celebrity Retreat during the 2011 Billboard
Music Awards. Ke$ha’s organization of choice is the Monroe
Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, thus SRS
will donate the 3DTV to the organization on her behalf.

"We are so grateful for Ke$ha’s extraordinary gift to Children’s
Hospital, which will offer a great deal of comfort and
entertainment to our patients,” said Janet Cross, director of
Patient and Family-Centered Care for Monroe Carell Jr. Children's
Hospital at Vanderbilt. “Part of providing top-notch medical care
to children is normalizing the hospital experience for them,
especially during a difficult treatment or an extended stay. It’s
these comforting intangibles, among other personalized aspects of
care, that later become the most enduring memories for our patients
and their families."
Dedicated to developing audio technologies that enable people to
hear their favorite songs true to the way the artists’ intended,
SRS’ sponsorship of the Backstage Creations Celebrity Retreat
during the 2011 Billboard Music Awards was a natural fit. During
the event, SRS hosted a contest where celebrities had a chance to
blindly select the one red guitar pick from a bowl of black picks
for a chance to win and donate an SRS-equipped 3DTV to the charity
or organization of their choice. Ke$ha was the winner and
Children’s Hospital was the lucky recipient of the donation. The
Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt treats the
region's sickest patients, caring for patients in 44 states in the
past year.
