The Directors are pleased to announce that Alexander Thomson has accepted an
invitation to join the Board as a non-executive Director with effect from 22
May 2003.

Mr. Thomson is currently Managing Director of Taconic Capital Advisors UK
Limited. He has twenty five years experience in investment banking, private
equity and hedge fund investing in the United Kingdom, Europe, the United
States and Asia.

There are no details required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 6.F.2(a) to
(g) of the UKLA Listing Rules.
