RESTON, Va., Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE:
LDOS), a FORTUNE 500® science and technology leader, was
selected as the prime task order awardee by the General Services
Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management
Center (FEDSIM), on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security
(DHS), to provide operations and maintenance, security,
optimization, enhancement, design, engineering, architecture,
integration, configuration, testing, and expansion of the Homeland
Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network
(C-LAN) under the Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services and
Support (SENS3) task order. The single-award task order has a base
period and five one-year option periods, with a total estimated
value of approximately $684 million.
Work will be performed primarily in Lorton, VA and at various DHS locations. The
task order was awarded under the GSA Alliant contract vehicle.
Leidos will apply its expertise as the largest provider of
information technology services to the federal government to assist
DHS in achieving its SENS3 program mission to maintain and manage
effective, secure, and classified, information sharing with
intelligence, law enforcement communities, and other communities of
interest. Under the task order, Leidos will provide innovative
services and solutions in support of DHS mission critical networks.
Support will include instilling Continual Service Improvement
throughout the life of the task order.
