                Sheila Beck and Hugh Boyes join Charteris plc

Business and information technology consultancy, Charteris plc. has
significantly increased the strength of its public sector team through the
appointment of two senior industry figures.

Sheila Beck joins Charteris following a career in the public and private sectors
that has included sixteen years in a variety of Central Government roles.

A former member of the Private Finance Panel executive, Beck has grown public
sector businesses within Siemens and Xansa, where she was responsible for
multi-million-pound business streams. Beck will be engaging in a number of
relationship and client-facing roles for Charteris.

Hugh Boyes joins Charteris following a career in programme management spanning
both the public and private sectors. This has included fifteen years delivering
projects and programmes within central Government. A former member of staff at
GCHQ, Boyes was instrumental in the shaping and procurement of GCHQ's New
Accommodation Project. Before joining Charteris, Boyes worked for Xansa, where
he undertook several assignments in Central Government aimed at improving
strategic programme delivery.

Charteris' public sector business activity has grown considerably since 2001. In
addition to contracts with the Cabinet Office, Criminal Justice Information
Technology (CJIT) and the NHS, Charteris now also serves clients in the
regulatory, local authority and primary care trust (PCT) sectors.
