Bater, who had been a senior investment professional with Gartmore Global Investments, will report to Kent Wosepka, managing director of core plus and absolute return strategies at Standish. Bater comes to Standish with over 25 years' of portfolio management experience. In her seven years at Gartmore, she led the high yield portfolio management team, which delivered strong, consistent performance results.
