                          Interim Management Statement



White Young Green plc, the multi skilled consultancy, operating across the
built, natural and social environment today provides its first Interim
Management Statement covering the period from the beginning of the financial
year, 1 July 2007 to date.


Trading since the start of the year has been good and the group's performance
remains in line with our expectations. We have continued to see strong demand
across all business segments and are pleased to have secured several important
projects since 1 July 2007 including Infrastructure Training in Romania (fee
value #3.2m) and the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford Road Scheme in Ireland (fee
value #3m).

Three acquisitions have been made since the start of the year: Independent
Transport Consultants Limited, a high level transport planning consultancy;
Management Consultants Group Limited, an international financial management
consultancy and P H McCarthy Consulting Engineers Limited, an Irish civil and
structural engineering consultancy. They are all integrating well into WYG and
are performing in line with internal expectations. As stated at the time of our
preliminary results in September, we see significant opportunities to grow the
business going forward and the acquisition pipeline remains strong.


The AGM will be held at Headingley Stadium, Leeds, on Wednesday 5 December and
interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2007 will be announced at
the end of February 2008.
