              ACQUISITION OF BELFAST BASED ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT
                                      H & ES LTD.


White Young Green Plc (WYG) the Engineering and Environmental Consultant is
pleased to announce the acquisition of the whole of the issued share capital
of H & ES Ltd (HES) a Belfast based Environmental Consultant.


In the year to 30 September, 2001, the certified accounts of the company show
a turnover of #390,855 (2000 audited: #230,272) and profit before tax of 
#55,156 (2000 audited: #15,234).  The net assets of the company were #84,957
(2000 audited: #29,801).


The consideration of #244,000 is being satisfied by a cash payment of #49,000
and the issue of 106,849 shares in WYG.


On 20th September, 2001, WYG acquired the Dublin based Environmental
Consultant, KT Cullen Ltd with whom HES have worked closely to provide an
Environmental service to clients throughout Ireland and with whom the skill
base is complementary.  The introduction of HES into WYG's existing operation
will also add new skills to the significant presence already established in
Belfast.


Application will be made to the United Kingdom Listing Authority ("UKLA") for
the consideration shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UKLA and
to the London Stock Exchange for admission for trading on its market for
listed securities and it is anticipated that dealings will commence on 14
November, 2001.
