Disposal of the contract antiserum business of Therapeutic Antibodies UK Ltd

The Board of Therapeutic Antibodies today announces that it has agreed to 
dispose of the contract antiserum business of Therapeutic Antibodies UK Ltd, 
together with associated assets including Gernos Farm to Micropharm 
Limited, for a cash consideration of  #376,800 payable upon completion on 30 
September 1999.
The assets the subject of the disposal have a book value of approximately 
#516,000, with profits attributable to them of approximately #12,000 per 
annum.
The proceeds of the disposal will be used towards the ongoing working 
capital requirements of the Company and towards the repayment of bank 
borrowings.
