METALRAX GROUP PLC  (the "Company")


Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for the listing of 201,313 new ordinary 5 pence shares ("Shares") in
the Company.  These Shares, ranking pari passu in all respects with the existing
ordinary shares in issue, will be allotted pursuant to the exercise of options.


Admission to the Official List is expected to become effective 29th August 2002.
