        Confirmation of Andrew Richardson's Appointment as Chief Executive

Metalrax, the niche worldwide supplier of specialist steel products to the
automotive, engineering support services and housewares sectors, confirms that
Andrew Richardson, 43, joined the Group as Chief Executive with effect from 12
October 2007.

This follows the announcement, on 16 July 2007, of Andrew's recruitment which
stated that Richard Arbuthnot would step down as Chief Executive upon Andrew
joining the Group.
