DIRECTOR DEALING AND NEW ISSUE OF SHARES

London Mining announces that on 18 April 2012 it issued 500,000 new shares ("New Shares") to Luciano Ramos, Executive Director of London Mining following the exercise of options granted under the terms of the London Mining plc No.1 Share Option Plan (the "Share Option Plan").

The options were exercised on 18 April 2012 at a strike price of GBP 1.74 per share. After this transaction, Mr. Ramos holds 1,259,667 shares in London Mining and 1,500,000 options over shares in London Mining granted under the terms of the Share Option Plan.

Following this issue, the Company has a total of 137,316,960 shares in issue and 10,286,384 options outstanding. London Mining has applied for admission of the New Shares to trading on AIM. Admission is expected to become effective on 24 April 2012.
