IMI To Join FTSE100 Index, Cobham To Leave

FTSE Group said late Wednesday that global engineering solutions
provider IMI PLC (IMI.LN) will be joining the FTSE 100 Index
replacing Cobham PLC (COB.LN) which will leave the U.K.'s leading
blue chip Index and enter the FTSE 250 Index.
MAIN FACTS:
-All changes from the review will be implemented at the close of
business Dec. 17 and take effect from the start of trading on Dec.
20.
-IMI shares closed Wednesday at 923.5 pence valuing the company
at GBP2.96 billion. Cobham shares closed at 196.4 pence valuing the
company at GBP2.27 billion.
