Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that on 6 April 2017 it purchased 16,424 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.06.

Following the above purchase the Company holds 932,145 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 102,734,713 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 102,734,713 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
