                                Net Asset Value                                

Ordinary shares in Crystal Amber Fund were admitted to trading on AIM on 17
June 2008. As stated in the admission document, the Company's net asset value
will be calculated quarterly on 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December
each year.

On 4 July the Company reported that its unaudited net asset value per share at
30 June was 95.05 pence, reflecting the initial placing proceeds and the costs
of flotation.

The Company now announces that its net asset value per share at 30 September
was 98.97 pence.

William Collins, Chairman of Crystal Amber Fund, said;

"This quarter-end net asset value reflects the gain on the investments in our
portfolio, much of which has been realised, and represents a good start for the
Company.

"Against a background of extreme volatility and uncertainty, our prime concern
has been to protect our shareholders. Our investment strategy remains cautious
and prudent, with most of the Company's assets held in cash or short dated UK
Government stock. This greatly enhances our ability to take advantage of the
increasing opportunities emerging in the current environment."
