                              Bridgewell Group plc

Bridgewell Group plc announces that it has applied for a blocklisting in respect
of a maximum of 10,000,000 Ordinary Shares of #0.00001p each which are intended
to be used to satisfy the conversion of B Shares once its scheme of arrangement
("the Scheme") relating to its proposed takeover by Landsbanki Island hf. is
sanctioned by the Court. The blocklisting shares may also be issued to satisfy
various share incentive awards which will vest once the Scheme is sanctioned by
the Court. It is anticipated that the blocklisting will be granted on 27th July
2007 and that the Scheme will be sanctioned by the Court on 30 July 2007.
