                    Transfer of BDH shares to beneficiaries

Burani Designer Holding N.V. ("BDH" or the "Company") announces that on 30
October 2007, 251,675 ordinary shares of the Company ('Shares') held in treasury
were transferred to beneficiaries of the BDH Free Shares Plan.

Under the BDH Free Shares Plan (the 'Plan'), awards over Shares were granted for
nil consideration to executive directors and a small number of key employees of
the BDH Group prior to IPO to reward them for their contribution to the
Company's IPO.  The Plan was approved during a meeting of BDH's shareholders
held on 25 May 2007.  The total number of Shares over which awards were granted
under the Plan was 372,155.  Under the terms of the Plan, two conditions needed
to be satisfied to enable the beneficiaries to call for the Shares comprised in
their awards: admission to trading occurring prior to 31 December 2007 and a
share price increase of 7% over the IPO price.  Both conditions were satisfied
on 20 June 2007.

The transfer, in respect of which instructions were given on 30 October 2007,
will be made from the 255,887 Shares, purchased by the Company in the period
from August 7 to October 4, 2007, which were being held in treasury (4,212
Shares remain in treasury).  As one of the beneficiaries, Mr. Giovanni Burani,
Chairman of BDH will receive a total of 53,548 Shares, increasing his direct
shareholding in BDH to 69,287 Shares.
