BURANI DESIGNER HOLDING ANNOUNCES THE CLOSING OF THE ACQUISITION OF  51% OF THE
VOTING RIGHTS IN GRANULATI ITALIA SPA.

Burani Designer Holding N.V., a company quoted on the Alternative Investment
Market ("AIM") of the London Stock Exchange and offering Italian lifestyle
products and services to customers world-wide, today announces the closing of
the acquisition, originally communicated on July 27, 2007, of a 51% controlling
interest in Granulati Italia SpA, a granulated fine foods manufacturer and
distributor based in Bergamo, Italy.

The acquisition of Granulati Italia S.p.A, the fourth effected by BDH in the
past six months, has been carried out through the newly established holding
company BDH Food Design s.r.l, whose aim is to extend BDH's reach into the
internationally appreciated Italian fine foods business.
