The Board of Altus Resource Capital Limited (the "Company"), a new 
Guernsey-domiciled closed-ended fund, is pleased to announce that monies 
totalling GBP26 million have been raised pursuant to the Company's recent 
Placing of 26 million new ordinary shares of 100 pence each. Nimrod Capital LLP 
acted as Placing Agent to the Company. Trading in the shares of the Company on 
the Specialist Fund Market of the London Stock Exchange plc is expected to 
commence at 8.00 a.m. on Tuesday 30 June 2009. 
 
 
The ISIN number of the shares is GG00B54BPN15 and the SEDOL code is B54BPN1. The 
shares will trade under the mnemonic ARCL. 
 
 
The Company's investment objective is to realise capital growth from a 
concentrated portfolio of resource equities with the aim of generating a 
significant capital return to shareholders. The Company will seek to achieve 
this objective by primarily investing in a portfolio of what it believes to be 
undervalued equities in junior resource companies. The junior resource companies 
that issue such equities will be engaged in the exploration, development and/or 
mining of metals and minerals and typically have market capitalisations of less 
than GBP100 million at the time of the Placing and/or investment by the 
Company. The Company will have an initial investment focus on gold producers. 
 
 
Altus Asset Management Limited (the "Manager") acts as the investment manager. 
The key personnel of the Manager comprises various employees of Altus Strategies 
Limited (a company comprising a team of experienced mining sector professionals 
involved in the mining and resources sector) who have been seconded to the 
Manager.
