Beamz Interactive, Inc. Announces Collaboration Initiative With Texas Educational System Regional Service Centers

Texas Represents a Major Opportunity for Beamz With Over 6,800 Elementary and Middle Schools and Is Expected to Serve as a Model for Collaboration With Other States

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwired - May 15, 2014) -  Beamz Interactive, Inc. (OTCQB: BZIC), a leading developer of state-of-the-art interactive music products, today announced that it is achieving early success in its collaboration initiatives working with Texas Regional Service Centers and providing training for its Beamz Education and Healthcare product offering. 

The Texas public school system has 20 regional centers that service over 1,200 school districts, who in turn service over 5,500 public elementary and middle schools. In addition, there are also approximately 1,300 private schools in Texas. In the last quarter Beamz has successfully engaged 10 of the 20 regional centers in Texas, which now include the Beamz in their training and lending programs -- already resulting in sales to a number of schools served by these regional centers.

As the Beamz Education and Healthcare product offering is evaluated and put into use at a specific school, Beamz expects it will thereafter provide several units per school, which will be used in special education classes, resource rooms and inclusive music rooms. There is also an opportunity to provide units and follow-on content to each school and to occupational therapists who may either work at a single school, or travel between schools, as well as to parents.

Beamz Interactive will attend and host further training opportunities at the Texas Assistive Technology Network (TATN) annual conference June 12-14 hosted at the Region 4 Service Center in Houston, with special education staff from areas throughout the state in attendance.
