The Board of New Star Enhanced Income Trust Plc ('NSEIT') announces that NSEIT
has repaid �70,000 of its �900,000 bank debt with Bank of Scotland leaving �830,000.  
This incurred a breakage cost of �6,697.46 which includes interest of
�753.55.
