Zoetis Inc. raised its full-year outlook as it reported higher third-quarter profit and revenue.

The animal-health company Thursday said it expects earnings of $4.23 to $4.29 a share, or $4.62 to $4.67 a share on an adjusted basis, on revenue of $7.7 billion to $7.75 billion.

It previously expected earnings of $4.09 to $4.19 a share, or $4.47 to $4.55 a share on an adjusted basis, on revenue of $7.625 billion to $7.7 billion.
