VF Corp. Exploring Sale of Nine Occupational Brands

VF Corp. (VFC) on Tuesday said it will review strategic
alternatives for the occupational portion of its work segment,
which accounted for about $865 million of revenue in fiscal
2019.
The Denver apparel maker said the brands and businesses under
review include Red Kap, VF Solutions, Bulwark, Workrite, Walls,
Terra, Kodiak, Work Authority and Horace Small.
VF Corp. said it will retain its Dickies and Timberland PRO
brands, adding that it is targeting a simplified portfolio of
higher-growth, consumer-focused brands.
VF said it has hired Barclays as its financial adviser to assist
with the review.
