Tabloid offers mix of reader contributions and reported stories from triblocal.com CHICAGO, Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning today, some Chicago Tribune readers will receive the new Triblocal print edition. Following the launch of triblocal.com earlier this year, hundreds of citizens registered to post photos, stories and events from their hometowns. This content, along with enhanced coverage from Triblocal editorial staff, is used to develop two weekly print publications serving the West and Southwest suburbs. The tabloid is distributed with both single-copy and home-delivery issues of the Thursday Chicago Tribune in the communities of Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, Elburn, Maple Park, Orland Park, Orland Hills, Tinley Park and Homer Glen in the Southwest suburbs. Each issue also includes a center-spread calendar of local events for the week ahead.
