Old Dominion Freight Line to Join S&P 500

Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. (ODFL) will join the S&P 500
before trading opens on Dec. 9, replacing SunTrust Banks Inc.
(STI), which is being sold to BB&T Corp. (BBT).
S&P Dow Jones Indices said Cabot Microelectronics Corp.
(CCMP) will move from the S&P SmallCap 600 to the S&P
MidCap 400, while Ready Capital Corp. (RC) will join the S&P
SmallCap 600.
Meanwhile, Industrial Logistics Properties Trust (ILPT) shares
rose 7% to $23 after hours as the company was added to the S&P
SmallCap 600, effective Friday, replacing Cambrex Corp. (CBM) in
connection with Cambrex's pending sale to Permira.
