Online broker TradeKing (www.tradeking.com) today announced its
clients now can take advantage of a greater breadth and depth of
financial data on its site, due to a new relationship with
Interactive Data Corporations (NYSE:IDC) Managed Solutions
business. As a result of the services provided by Interactive Data,
the new expanded data and tools are designed to be more visually
appealing, flexible, updated and customizable to clients than ever
before.
Savvy traders are making more strategic use of tools and data
to improve their chances of success in this market environment,
particularly as theyre diversifying beyond stocks into options
trading and other investment strategies, said Don Montanaro, CEO
of TradeKing. Were proud to kick off this year with an improved
set of sophisticated data designed to help clients make better
investment decisions in this or any economy. All this is in keeping
with TradeKings commitment to ensure all our clients have, at no
extra charge, the tools and support that they need.
A particular highlight of TradeKings new data offerings is
better organized data for options and the securities underlying
those options. Now, TradeKing clients will find important earnings
and dividend information for the underlying securities alongside
the option quotes. This is an important factor in trade decisions
and accurate options quoting. In the coming weeks, TradeKing will
also be more deeply integrating Interactive Datas financial
information with content from its own social networking community
throughout the TradeKing site. Other new data features include:
- Expanded quote pages
- Increased depth and breadth of
data on options all data points are refreshed with each change in
quote data, including the size of the market (number of options
contracts)
- Increased power and
functionality to TradeKings stock, mutual fund and ETF
screeners
Interactive Data can help its customers create a unique online
experience that attracts, engages, and retains users, said Luan
Cox, general manager of Interactive Data Managed Solutions
(Americas). We are pleased to work with TradeKing to help its
clients obtain, organize and understand the trading data to better
assist their decision-making processes.
