Home Depot Accelerates Hiring Process, Aims for Over New 100,000 Associates

Home Depot Inc. said it is hiring more than 100,000 new associates ahead of the home-improvement industry's busy spring season.

The company said Tuesday it has accelerated its hiring process, and applicants could receive an offer within a day of applying. The retailer is looking for full-time and part-time workers across various positions, including customer service, sales, store support, freight, merchandising and warehouse associates.

Home Depot said employee benefits include tuition reimbursement, a performance-based cash bonus program, paid family leave, back-up dependent care, 401(k) savings plan with company match, and a discounted company stock purchase program.

The company said that over the past three years, store associates have received more than $1 billion in Success Sharing awards.
