Graco Inc. Reaches Favorable Settlement to Enforce Patent and Trademark Rights

Graco Inc. (NYSE:GGG) announced today that it reached a
successful settlement in its patent and trademark infringement suit
brought against Hong Kong-based Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd.
(“TTI”) and TTI’s U.S.-based affiliates. Graco had brought suit in
United States District Court for the District of Minnesota alleging
that TTI’s RAP200 Paint Station Tool sold under the Ryobi brand
name infringed Graco’s United States Patent No. 6,702,198 and
federally registered BLUE trademark. Terms of the settlement were
not disclosed.
